Well, the World Health Organization is going to announce at 11:00 AM EST whether or not the Swine Flu is a "global pandemic".  |

I'm sorry, but where does it say that swine flu vaccines would be mandatory under a phase 6 alert?

I dont know if they can force a vaccine, but I wouldnt be surprised. Maybe H/A knows. I did hear just a moment ago on msnbc that 3 more have died in New York City, bringing the cities death toll to 12. They also said that swine flu has claimed 141 lives and has spread to over 70 countries. They mentioned that there will be an announcement in a bit as to the global pandemic state. Thats all I know as of right now.

Update.....
They just announced 3 more dead in N.Y. bringing their total to 15. Two of them were children. And they are announcing a global pandemic state, level 6. This is the first time since 1968 when the hong kong flu killed nearly 1 million people (34,000 just in the U.S.).

From what i just heard, the pandemic has already been declared.
For now, who isn't enforcing border closings or mandatory vaccines
because right now, there isn't enough vaccines to go around at this
time. Who, is hoping this will encourage drug makers to step up the
pace in the vaccine manufacturing.
I really think who is jumping the gun on declaring a pandemic. There
have only been 27 deaths associated with swine flu and this isn't
a very big number to even consider calling a pandemic.
I haven't heard anything either yet about enforcing mandatory flu
vaccines but that is probably because there isn't enough of it made
yet. When there is, watch obama closely because i'll bet he will make
it mandatory.
I'll have to go see if alex jones has heard anything yet.

I was watching Dr. Ron Paul on youtube taking about the swine flu
and he said years ago the government was hyping up the case for
swine flu. They were telling everyone to go out and get vaccinated
for it but the truth is, more people died from the vaccine than they
did the flu. One person died of swine flu and 25 died from the vaccine.
Just a word of warning. If swine flu does make a comeback, don't be
rushing out to get a vaccine for it because it may just kill you.
Right now, they are pushing the tamaflu pill. This pill isn't even
design for swine flu, so how is it that this will help you out at all?
I'm no doctor but in my case, i'd rather just go get penicillin if i
take anything at all. Basically, one should just do the same thing
they do when they have a bad cold. Drink plenty of water and clear
chicken broth (soup), get plenty of bed rest and maybe some asprin
for the fever.

Brazil finds new strain of H1N1 virus

Brazilian scientists have identified a new strain of the H1N1 virus after examining samples from a patient in Sao Paulo, their institute said Tuesday.
The variant has been called A/Sao Paulo/1454/H1N1 by the Adolfo Lutz
Bacteriological Institute, which compared it with samples of the A(H1N1) swine flu from California.
The genetic sequence of the new sub-type of the H1N1 virus was isolated by a virology team lead by one of its researchers, Terezinha Maria de Paiva, the institute said in a statement.
The mutation comprised of alterations in the Hemagglutinin protein which allows the virus to infect new hosts, it said.
It was not yet known whether the new strain was more aggressive than the current A(H1N1) virus which has been declared pandemic by the World Health Organization.
The genetic make-up of the H1N1 virus and its subvariants are important for scientists.
Pharmaceutical companies are working to mass produce a vaccine against the current A(H1N1) flu.
There are fears though that it could mutate into a deadly strain, much in the same way as the 1918 Spanish flu -- also an A(H1N1) virus type -- did when it killed tens of millions around the planet.
According to the WHO, 36,000 people in 76 countries have been infected with the H1N1 virus, causing 163 deaths

If it spreads to China and infects lots of people there in the areas where lots of ducks are raised we could be in for trouble. Chinese are not to blame; however, there are large areas there where families depend on ducks (average flock ~60 birds per family) for eggs, meat, and fibers. Ducks contact the virus after it passes from people into the water; the virus mutates as it passes through the ducks, and then goes airborne. This mutation process happens every year, so perhaps the virus of concern might mutate into something mild and harmless, or something fierce and deadly. Either way, I won’t be getting a flu shot.

Thanks for the info H/A. I wont be getting a flu shot either. Any new updates? I havent heard anything so far this week on the news. But Ive been listening more for info on Obama giving the FDA control over the tobacco industry and giving more powers to the Federal Reserve (both very bad things in themselves). Havent heard anything about H1N1 yet though.

The only thing i have heard recently is that Baxter, the drug co.
making the swine flu vaccine, said the vaccine should be ready in
july. After that, it will be mandatory for everyone in the usa to
take this vaccine.
As most of you already know, more people die from the vaccine than
they does from the flu.
I had read the this vaccine may contain insect dna as well.

Pretty much, sod the vaccine. I'm not getting one, neither will most people in Europe I would imagine, as we don't think it will come to anything over here.

There's nothing official yey but it's being said that americans
will be forced to take the vaccine at gun point.
Then again, i heard anyone not taking the vaccine, goes to a fema
detention camp.
There's to many rumors going around and not enough truth.
