Last week i watched the whole mini series of the land of the lost.
I payed particular attention to the Sleestak, a reptilian type creature.

The week i've been seeing Sleestak featured in commercials and i'm
wondering what is up with that.

Are the movie folks coming out with a new version of this show or are
the movies folks getting us accustom to seeing reptilians walking
about the place?

Mini-series? Was there a mini-series and I missed it?! A couple weeks ago the Sci-fi channel played all of the old ones from the 70's. It brought back memories. It was one of my favorite shows as a kid. Seems pretty cheezy by todays standards though.

I was referring to the same show. I should have said it was a
weekly show, not a mini series.

I still find it odd that commercials are featuring the Sleestak.

Yeah, lizard people everywhere. Jim Morrison would have been so proud. Are you seeing dinosaurs and the little hairy guys too or just sleestaks? I havent been paying too much attention to commercials lately.

Nope. Just the Sleestak for now. Maybe they resemble the reptilians
and big government is just trying to get us used to seeing them.

Hmmm very interesting. You might have something there. I could see them using a tactic of getting us use to certain things....conditioning us, if you will. It's been rumored that it is what they have been doing with the whole idea of aliens over the past couple of decades. I'll keep an eye out for reptile people.

I can't believe they are butchering the old series by starring Will Ferrel in the new movie version. What an idiot, I HATE that guy.

I for one will not be seeing the movie.

As for the topic at hand, haven't really noticed any Sleestaks in any commercials. Any one in particular that you remember H/A?

I really liked him on Sadurday Night Live but I have not been impressed by most of his movies. The humor always seems a little too geared towards younger viewers for me, kind of like the Larry the Cable Guy movies.

That's where he belongs, Saturday Night Live. It's like he can't get past the mentality of that show.

It was a subway commercial that the Sleestak were featured in.

There was a sleesak featured in the subway commercial. Hopefully this isn't a sneak preview of the reptillian invasion to come!

It's all about the game, and how yous play it.

I don't believe there will be a reptilian invasion, or an invasion by any other species of alien.

Just my opinion.

It may mean nothing at all. It's probably just a promotional
tactic for a new Land Of The Lost movie. I never once thought
about a reptilian invasion. I was just wondering if television
is getting us use to seeing reptilians for some reason. I'm
probably way off base on this one.

Nah I wouldn't say way off base but I don't believe that this is another way for the government to scare us. I am taking the role of skeptic on this one and saying it is just a harmless way to advertise a movie.
