The moon is alot more special to use than we think..........was it built for use?
We no the moon influences the tides and is correlated with womens menstual cycles and that the lunar months were used to measure time. Some thought crops grew better in the "face of the moon", many cultures attribute supernatural powers to the moon hence werewolves but it is more helpful than u think.
It is thought the moon was made for us. The moons pull stabilises the axial tilt of the earth- meaning the earth doesnt wobble more wildy. This tilt creates seasons and the range of temperature isnt as big as if it wasn on a tilt - the oceans wud be frozen and equatorial regions wuldd be too hot to sustain life.
Apparently the tides have caused a vital role in evolution. The first organisms to come out of the oceans and live on land were probably mollusc like creatues stranded in rock pools at low tide.
It is also known the the moons gravational pull has slowed the spin of earth. This would cause short days which may of stopped complex life evolving.
The moon being the exact size it is and being in the exact position that it is between the earth and the sun cann0ot be a fortunate fluke . During a total eclipse the moon seens to be exactly the same size as the sun. The moon is 1/400th the diameter of the sun yet the moon is 400 times nearer to earth than the sun.
It has also been suggested that the moon is hollow like the "death star". Altough we know this isnt true because of moonquakes and other measurements.
Now this is the science behind how the moon was formed:
When the sun was born it formed rings of dust around it that over millions of years condensed by mean of the dusts own mass, into proto planets.
This is how planets are formed... In standard solar system formation theory.
Now what appears to have happened with the moon and the earth is that there were in fact two proto planets occupying the same orbital radius around the sun. One of these proto planets was travelling at a different speed to the other and so eventually the two proto planets collided.
The already malleable proto planet that is the earth was literally melted and absorbed the other proto planet. As a consequence of the earth actually melting, a small droplet of the molten earth was ejected and was caught in the gravity of the young earth and became the moon.
But the Sun is indeed exactly 400 times larger than the moon and in fact the moon IS in fact exactly the right distance to appear to be the same size as the sun to us.
This is either a very strange coincidence or it is by design. Now should this be by design then the amount of energy that it would require to do something on that scale would mean that there must be a very real and present purpose of the moon.
I'm personally more scientific about things and tend to join with the scientists but i find this intriguing. What are yer thoughts?

Yep, I agree the moon is a strange enigma indeed. We've had several topics on it over the years. Some of the information you provided above contradicts other data but you'll have that I guess. Like the moon being hollow for example. Some data does suggest that it's hollow. I can't remember what hit it or when but I do remember something about a bell effect that started the whole collision testing or seismic testing. But like many other subjects, whether the moon is hollow or not depends on who you ask, lol. It could just be that the moon has vast cavities throughout. Thats an interesting theory about the 2 proto planets colliding. I'll have to add that one to the list. Too bad it's just one of many theories and we likely will never know for sure.
There do seem to be things that are unnatural about the moon. Most people laugh at the artificial moon theories but many of those same people can't explain the enigmas of the moon so they have no business laughing IMO. Unfortunately we have to keep in mind that any real data about the moon probably doesnt reach the public if it has anything to do with us working on projects there or aliens. It's not like they would come out and tell us if it was hollow or was placed there, or there were bases there, etc... It would spark to many uncomfortable questions. Maybe you've hit on why the space program suddenly stopped focusing on the moon publicly. The apparent structures on the moon are most curious.

Yep, i think this is what your talking about, Seismometer recordings from Apollo XII mission in November 1969. After seismometers were set up on the Moon's surface by the astronauts of Apollo XII, astronauts heading back to Earth discarded the ascent stage of the lunar module, dropping it on the Moon's surface. The craft smashed and the shock waves the seismometers picked up lasted for about an hour, giving the impression that the moon is hollow. But then its hard to know cos the moon has been hit by things a lot bigger than a lunar module and if it was hollow it wouldnt leave just massive craters.

Yeah that looks like the same list we've posted here a couple times. Not knowing what lies beneath the surface of the moon makes it hard to judge what the impact results would be for various objects. It really depends on where the impact is in relation to cavities and how deep the cavity goes and how close to the surface it is. If there are structures underground or it's really a giant station on the inside, then who knows what the materials might be. That's reaching pretty far out there though. But I cannot explain the oddities of the moon any better then anyone else so I cannot totally discount such ideas. The fact that it doesnt rotate normally and we only ever see one side of it seems very strange to me. But so does everything else about it too, lol.

Thx FrmBlvr. The fact that most people dont even know that our closest planetary body that we've all stared at on numerous occasions, is surrounded in such mystery, says a lot about our schools and what is taught....or rather what is not taught. We are stupid, but it's not entirely our fault. There are tons of things that could be benificailly taught in schools but is not. We treat things like aliens and this topic as if it were a joke or some form of crude entertainment. There are some very serious questions that they dont want to step up and answer. I guess it's easier to mock these subjects then to tell the truth.

So Google Earth 5.0 now also has Google Moon & Google Mars. If you zoom into The Sea of Tranquility on the moon, it has obviously been altered. Damn Nasa.....
There was also a show on The History Channel last night about the probe that Japan sent to photograph and map the surface of the moon back in 2007. I fell asleep like 15 minutes into it, so I'll have to watch it again tonight!  |

You mean that we can see the band from picture 1 in the top right corner of picture 2. I don't see what we're looking at, though. Just looks like a different angle. What the hell is the band from anyway?
