I was on my way to work this morning and I heard a radio announcer talking about the issue of possibly microchipping criminals. On the surface this might seem like a good idea. "Yeah lets keep track of those criminals!" But I dont like the idea of microchipping at all. People warned years ago that microchipping was coming and they laughed. Nobody laughing now. We have pet microchipping and soon criminal microchipping. Before you know it we will have baby microchipping. This is all just to get us used to the idea so that one day all human can be microchipped. Nobody is putting a chip in me. Anything that can be made to send a signal can likely be made to recieve as well. If you are religious then consider microchipping the mark of the beast. If you are not, consider it the mark of stupidity.

I don't know how true it is but i read that the swine flu vaccine also contains nano chips in every shot.
Probably b.s. but you never know.
I don't believe in chipping anyone. If you allow chipping of criminals then eventually, it will mandatory for all humans.

It's a wacky world. While some are considering banning cigs, others are considering legalizing marijuana. While in Ohio yesterday they were voting to legalize casinos, in Colorado they were legalizing marijuana. Both passes as far as I've heard. I dont know the details yet but evidentally weed is now legal in Colorado (I would assume for medical purposes only but I am not sure). I'm still upset that the Obama administration thinks going after health reform is going to fix the economy. The number one priority should be either in lowering the cost of living or creating new jobs. I would think both would be good. But no, they would rather gear their efforts towards taking over one more aspect of our lives, by telling us all that it is the health system that is the problem. Idiots, it's jobs that are in need fools! (not you guys of course)
People still dont get it. To heal for profit is negative. To heal because you can is possitive. Motive is everything. Health reform is going to raise everyones cost of living, while limiting your own control. I still can't believe that Baxter was allowed to make the h1n1 vaccine while they have criminal charges pending that implicate them for putting bird flu in their product. I would think that if the milkman was suspected of selling spoiled milk, you wouldn't choose to get your milk from him.

I have to go to work but just a heads up...Obama is going after education next. 2 billion is going towards what he is calling "education reform". If anyone gets a chance to look into this, please do. I am listening to his speech live on tv right now but I likely wont be able to hear it all. Gotta go work for the "man", earn that dollar so the bankers and government can have it, lol. Later....

Well on one hand, our education system does need reform but I imagine he has some stupid plan that'll do more harm than good. And Congress needs to put a leash on all this money he's spending. The wise president would be the one that can change the education system with the money that's already designated for that, not the president who just picks some random billion-dollar price tag to slap on a new bill.

I totally agree Brandon. I get a little nervous anytime government wants to take a more active roll in what our kids are learning....a lot nervous actually. There are some major conflicts of interest when considering government and what kids "should" be taught. A mild example of this would be how in schools in the USA you are taught about Thomas Edison but not Nikola Tesla. That's because learning about Tesla puts a spotlight on free energy and they definately don't want that. I definately think our education system needs revised because kids aren't learning what is important, and government already has a lot to do with the problem. I'm all for reform but I just don't think that government are the right ones to be doing it. They have far too many self-serving interests. And who is paying for this 2 billion? Tax payers again likely, or maybe we will borrow it from China again....stupid stupid stupid. You are right Brandon, I think a good leader could reform education with the funds already available. In our area people think that getting a better education means a new school building. We just ignorantly passed another levy tuesday for yet another new school in which the kids will just continue to learn stuff they likely wont use once they graduate. They dont teach anything about basic common sense logic, principles or criticle thinking. It's all just "memorize this you little repeater....No, don't look over there and dont you dare question the information, this is all you need to know". I don't believe in that kind of teaching. That is not true learning.

Wow!
How did I miss THIS thread? I just read the three pages, and you guys are really having a crap-fest, LOL!
And rightly so, with all the crap that's going on around us...or, up above us (if one considers the moon blast thing).
About the moon: I sort of had the same thought as H/A when I first heard about that rocket-bomb being launched at the lunar surface. I wonder if there was some artifact or structure that the Powers that Be didn't want us looking at too closely. I have a hard time believing they were merely looking for water. I also had a similar worry as did Brandon, but I wondered if the blast might "cockyhew" the moon's orbit a bit, leading to some spatial/gravitational effects here on Earth. But I guess the blast was too small to effect that kind of change (thank goodness!).
About the laws they impose upon us, the lowly peons (or should that be "pee-ons"? ): When, in the past several decades, has anything the Gov (local, state, or fed) has done, by way of lawmaking, been sensible, logical, or helpful to us, the citizens? It seems that laws are becoming increasingly ludicrous and are trampling all over our rights as free people. It's time to wake up and take a stand, for America, for Apple Pie...and Cal's brownies!
Seriously, though, we do need to stay on top of these issues. I don't smoke (never have, btw), but I'll fight for the rights of others to smoke without being taxed or otherwise penalized.
About obama...uh, let's not get on that topic. It gives me a bad case of indigestion . Okay, I will say that I do not believe he has anything good in mind for the America of our forefathers. I think he is a socialist at heart, but I hope he soon realizes that his "progressive socialism" is just glossed-over marxism, and will harm this land and its people, possibly leading to another civil war, which I hope can be avoided. His education agenda smacks of propagandizing the youth into (as H/A illustrated with his post) an almost fervent worship of obama--such a deadly thing! And concerning that Nobel Peace Prize for obama...what a joke! I have more cause to receive that award than he does, by virtue of the peace & serenity I bring to mankind through my brownies, LOL!
About microchipping of humans...Be afraid...Be very afraid ...
Now for my Rant of the Day: I hate picking rocks out of a wheelbarrow full of horse $hit! Uh...don't ask. It's really a very long, boring story...
Have a great one!
Your Pal, Cal

Yep this is just a thread so you can rant your frustration whenever on whatever you like.
Lol, Cal, I so have to ask. This sounds very amusing, picking rocks out of a wheelbarrow full of horse pooh. Are you fertilaizing a garden or something? Sorry to have to ask but anytime somebody says "Dont ask" I cant help but ask, lol.

What's with all the printing of new money? My wife's boss called the bank the other day about getting some ones, and she requested old ones (because they dont tend to stick together as badly) but she was told by the treasury that the reserve is only giving out new money. My wife told me that other people have been coming into the store and saying all of the banks are giving out new money in the area. I was wondering what this is about. Is it just time to replace some of the old money that has been in circulation or are they just putting out more money (effectively lowering the value of the dollar in the long run) without actually doing away with the old money? So I went to the bank this morning to cash a few checks ($120) and was given 6 brand new 20's. Are they replacing the old money or just putting more into circulation (that is not backed by anything)?

World record for Wallstreet! (grrrr)
This 2009 record is for wallstreet bonuses. 162 billion this year after putting the taxpayer at risk for 24 trillion. How can this be? It's just like the big corporations. We are seeing record profits while the little guy is barely scraping by. Now tell me that Obama isn't working for wallstreet and the bankers. Disgusting....

Ok, I need to rant again. The world is going to crap and it's being excellerated by the Obama administration like never before. I feel so sorry for my wife's manager. She is a 60 something year old lady. She's just a little thing, a sweet old lady. She lives with her best friend who suffers from MS. Well she also retired from General motors years ago and thanks to the auto deal earlier this year, she will be losing her insurance at the end of the year. As it looks now, she might be losing her medicare too, or in the least, it will be severely cut back. Her friend that she lives with who has MS has to get a special shot every 3 months. This shot cost $7000. Yes that is not a typo. This shot cost $7000. If healthcare were actually being reformed, she would be seeing the cost of this shot drop dramatically because that's where the problem lies. But no. Thats not their true focus. They dont know what they are going to do after the first of the year. I feel so sorry for them. $7000 for a shot?! Now tell me that the medical industry isn't just a money machine. And I thought a $300 swine flu test was bad. Boy, was I wrong.

Oh I forgot to tell you something H/A. Remember here a couple weeks ago when we were talking about how weed was legalized in Denver, Colorado? Well, remember how I assumed it was for medical use or something? Turns out I was wrong again. The legalization of marijuana in Denver has absolutely nothing to do with medical use. Basically what they voted in was that you can now have up to an ounce in the city and they can't touch you. Up to an ounce is "A-okay". I guess either everyone smokes out there or the people who dont smoke, dont see it as an issue. For the entire last year, they only issued like 17 marijuana citations. Heck, we issue at least that around here in just one weekend, lol. The longer I am here, the more I am reminded that the world does not work like I would expect it to. I still have so much to learn it would seem.
