Anybody have out-of-body experiences to share? Someone who read Alien Witness commented on the descriptions of paranormal and extraterrestrial experiences, then asked if those happened to me. I answered that the oob experience, as described, was real. I can post that excerpt here if desired, however, I'd like to know what others or their friends and aquaintences have experienced, and, if anyone has a technique for doing it at will. Also, I count oob and nde (near death experience) separate. My experience is that the nde is limited compared to the conscious oob. Over the years, I've transformed from fear to calm when experiencing an oob; I'd like to know others have experienced and their thoughts on the subject.

The closest I've had to out of body experiencing is when I was a young girl...maybe about four years old. It may not be OOB, but it felt like it. Before I would start a dream, I would see myself floating into the sky, watching my body still sleeping next to my sister down below. When my dream would finish, I would see myself floating back into my body again, and I would wake up. This may have happened many times during my younger years, but I only vividly remember one time that it had happened. It doesn't happen to me anymore, but I experience sleep paralysis, and if I meditate I can hear a group of voices talking in my head that aren't my thoughts, and if focused I can do it at will.
I would love to see the excerpt that you mentioned, and I would love to hear your story about your out of body experiences. When did it start? And are you able to do it at will?
