Hey, Guys!
I've gotta run in a few minutes. Been invited to a lobster/crab fest (and I do love my seafood!  ) But I want to come back and comment later on some of what has been written here. Very interesting reading, and I give you guys a lot of credit for discussing this topic so civilly, as it could have turned out...well, on a sour note, shall we say.

Hi, Everybody!
I finally got back from my Seafood Extravaganza--what fun, and what delicious food!
Now, with happy tummy, I return to post a few thoughts on the topic-at-hand:
First of all, I tend to agree with Brandon on some key points. I have a very difficult time thinking that obama has plans to do good for anyone in this country. Perhaps he is, as MON said (by the way, Hi, MON: Nice to meet you! ), a puppet in the hands of TPTB; or, perhaps he is in cohoots with said powers. I think he is way too arrogant in his dealings with citizens here in the states to be that concerned about whether or not we have access to the truth about UFOs; his agenda seems more in line with securing increased government control of every aspect of our lives.
Second, whenever people start date-setting, red flags popping up in my mind. I've seen way too many of these supposed "prophets of doom" to be comfortable with this.
As always, I will await the coming replies.

Why do people keep saying, " I don't know if he will reveal the THRUTH", we don't even know that what we are saying is truth.
But I agree with you Cal, the second David put a date on it I began to feel a bit weary about the whole thing.

Well, i can only find one person who has claimed to have been in a fire fight with ET's......could you possably link me to the " all others " your talking about?
I wasnt describing anyone, just merely pointing out negativity. Oh and replying to other peoples posts in defence.......hate that

Okay, Guys...
You're making ole Cal a bit dizzy with these "posts within posts." You all have valid ideas and opinions--after all, that's why we're here: to openly and freely exchange and share our ideas and opinions.
And, as we have all come to learn, we often have quite different viewpoints. But that's okay, too. It's what makes the world go 'round, as they say!
For the most part, we have all come to a place where we can "agree to disagree" on certain topics--that's what keeps drawing me back here...That and the fact that you guys have become like family to me. I respect you and your thoughts and opinions--even if they occasionally differ from mine. Actually, the divergence of opinions allows for some excellent discussion, doesn't it? If we all agreed on every point, I think we'd become grossly bored in short time!
Thank goodness, we're not cookie cutter copies of each other!
So, be kind to one another, okay? I'll bake you some extra brownies if you do!

Come now friends. Lets try to shake the negativity of this thread off a bit. It's all too easy to fall into an argumentive state with subjects like this, religion, politics, etc. It may require that at times we bite our tongues or if given an opportunity to ridicule somebody, you simply choose not to. It takes a conscious effort sometimes. Humans thrive on a certain level of conflict and it takes a little extra effort sometimes to not just fall into the usual banter. Rob and Mon, you two are both fairly new members and I really enjoy the different perspectives that you each bring, as well as all the other members. But we must all watch that our different perspectives are not used simply to ridicule and belittle one another. I have found that people are easily offended, even when the intent isn't there, so we must be careful. So all that I would ask is that everyone try to have respect for what each other says even when you dont agree with it. We all come from slightly different walks of life and our individual experiences vary. Lets come together and share that walk. Lets please try to avoid turning those beautiful minds into little more then tools to promote negativity. We already see way too much of this in the real world. Some of us may simply have gotten off on the wrong foot and in the stumble it can sometimes be rather difficult to regain proper footing. So in the spirit of renewed friendship...lets start over.

The thing about arguing is that when people get to the point of arguing, they are each so closed off from the other person's perspective, that it does no good to argue anyway. Both Cal and Elrick have both kindly asked you to put aside your differences and calm down. Frankly, I don't care if you people argue or not. It's human nature and I simply don't have the time to go around breaking up every conflict I see. But for you two to blindly ignore Cal's and El's requests for peace is downright rude and arrogant. If you were paying attention, I believe MON is arguing because he thinks people should have a positive outlook on life and Rob is arguing because MON has judged who he is before getting to know him. Both of you are arguing about stupid $hit. Now stop spreading conflict like a couple of parasites and show us all what a positive outlook really looks like.
