There was talk that this series was geared with the obama
administration in mind. The same things the visitors promised
is what obama promised but never came through with it yet.

| thinking about it , it does bring the new administration to mind, also it brings to mind that series "Jericho" which I only saw a few episodes, I think the reporter and anna might be candidates to spawn a little hybrid, Im gonna keep tunin in |

obama's a reptilian alien in disguise! 
I watched both the SyFy channel original V marathon, and the new series premier. Pretty good, but the jumping ahead did bother me a bit, too. However, I shall keep watching...
I do hope they will throw in some twists and bends in the plot, different from the original series, just to keep it fresh and also to keep us guessing! If it's too much like the original, I fear I will get bored...

I don't have a tv.  I took the whole thing out of my room months ago to get rid of the distractions. I'll have to wait for it to come out on dvd.

I was hoping HULU would have the new V on it's site but it
doesn't look like that's going to happen.

Like I said, I do hope they throw in some novel plot twists to keep it current and fresh!
We'll know soon if the writers, directors, et al, have a winning series on their hands, or not!

Well. Hulu came through. They finally posted the first episode
of V and i got to watch it.
I guess i'll have to wait another week to see the second episode.
