I just joined the forum thanks for having me, I am a long time amatuer explorer of the ufo/alien topics and want very badly for there to be a smoking gun but can honestly say I have yet to see it, though I have read and seen documentaries and even experienced a sighting that I cant explain away, I have an idea that possibly some videos and snapshots are simply elaborate hoaxes, maybe remote controlled blimps(they sell them online), doctored up with lights helium filled objects, airplanes, birds(I myself have seen a flock of birds that first appeared to be a solid object then broke up to be explained for what they were), as for eyewittness reports without pictures ,even the ones from cops and military, maybe these people were having problems in there life and wanted some acknowledgement for something no matter what it cost or meant saying, I can really understand that happening, (brings to mind the 2 guys that said they found bigfoot the one guy was a cop I saw the news conference and man that guy convinced ,turns out, Well we all know) the hard core believers somewhat remind me of fanatical christians, I dont want to offend anyone but jesus christ literally walking on water would be a similar experience to a ufo landing in your back yard, but if Jesus Crist was a david blaine type charachter it would appear he really did waLK on water so an elaborate hoax could fool many, any thoughts on all this, ok my kids are home back to earth for me thanks for listening, I am glad I found this forum thanks

Welcome to the forum Garylee. Glad to have you aboard. Yeah it's hard to provide absolute proof to somebody seeking it. If we had absolute proof, then this subject would no longer be of such great contraversy. The NASA footage is pretty convincing. For me, I like the ancient history stuff. Very fascinating area. Tons to check out. You'll never have time to get to it all, lol. Have you heard of the Dropa Stones? I researched these many years ago for the site. Very fascinating stuff. But again it is but a needle in a hay stack.

Firstly, the bible is not the most reliable of sources, secondly it has been written and rewritten time and again, and the quote itself could be interpretted in many different ways.....not saying that your wrong, but your going need more than just a qoute from the bible to
convince people.

There was a video a while back that talked about the tale of Lucifer being a star, comet or planet that crashed into earth causing great upheaval on the planet. I dont remember the details very cleary but it was something to the effect of over time the christians had mutated this ancient story and Lucifer representing all things evil, became an actual being instead of just a star. The bible is full of mutated and rewritten ancient stories. Some of those stories could be based on actual events that were witnessed but likely not understood. But figuring out which ones are based on actual events and which ones are just stories is next to impossible.

As El and the others have said, it is very difficult to prove the existence of aliens & ufos. I believe that irrefutable proof exists, but it is being purposely covered up. But that, in itself, is difficult to prove, due to the nature of the cover-up and the identities of those doing said cover-up.
So where does that leave us?
I guess it leaves us right here, discussing the issue and trying to make sense out of things we have seen and/or experienced; or things we are genuinely curious about.
Many of us have had experiences that lead us to believe in life "out there"--but we are careful not to spout off too much about them. Because, when all things are said and done, experiences (meaningful as they might be) are still not valid scientific proof. You can't really "hang your hat on them," so to speak.
So we think, and we share, and we contemplate, cogitate, and occasionally regurgitate our thoughts and ideas, in an attempt to make as much sense out of the subject as we can.
Keep your thinking cap on, Garylee, and keep questioning and searching. You'll be surprised at what you'll find, I'm sure!

| Elrich, the link you posted is very interesting I read it 3x, funny thing is those disks look very similar too some of those nasa images, thanks for the info please post any of the convinceing stuff if you get free time and feel like it,as curious as I am my ufo prowess is a little weak, even though its something I think about often,and keep my eyes open too |

Good eye Gary. You are correct. They do resemble the pulsating objects in the Tether video as well as some of the other space vids that show these same type objects flying into the clouds.

already posted here that many of us have probably already forgotten
about.
It would also help if we knew exactly what you are trying to find to.
Like i already said, there is already a lot of stuff posted here but
there is no real proof of anything.

| you have a nice flow calperia, meaning... well put! not sure my next comment has anything to do with that thought but I have oftened wondered this about myself, is my interest in ufos really just my way of escaping my reality and responsibility of dealing with these 3 kids that are thrashing around in the back ground whom I have and will pay much attention to by days end, but I guess I had great interest even before these kids came along,but, do I want truth or do I want a distraction from truth? |

Ha. Good point. I hadn't thought of that before. Mathematically, there's gotta be aliens out there but the only reason why there's any point in chatting about them is mostly just to escape from our own boring lives. I like this forum, though. We don't just talk about aliens, we talk about everything. 'Tis home away from home.
