The following are a couple of items I've recently recieved through email that were a little disturbing (that is if there is any truth to them). Now this may just all be a bunch of nonsense but I thought it was intersting, especially with the mentioning of Planet X (which I hadn't heard much about in a while). So anyways, I thought I would share.....

Dear Friends and family:
When the tsunamis first hit the islands I sent out a distress mailer that THIS WAS THE BEGINNING OF THE LAST DAYS.
Since this time the worlds weather,volcanic activity, earth tremors have gone crazy. But now it CONTINUES. The tidal wave that is projected soon for the east coast will take many more lives than the earlier tsunamis because of the density of the populations on our east coast.....but keep in mind that there should be no problems yet to those who are west of the Appalacian Mountains.
Before all this began we were advised that we should be at least 200 miles inland from large bodies of water and at an elevation of at least 2,000 feet.
What will happen in our immediate future? The way I am now reading from my interpretations from early scriptures and from the mathematics of present scientists, I see that our Bush and company are now planning on starting a war in the middle east which will undertake to neutralize North Korea and Iran. This war will be entirely defensive from Russia, Iran, North Korea and Israel will be wiped clean from the face of the earth. Russia has already made plans to do this and stated so in the Pravda newspapers. It will be a losing war for America because WE are the invading evil that they are trying to avoid and the Russians have developed missles thirty years ahead of our present capabilities.
It was an intelligent move on the part of Russia, realizing that they did not have the unlimited wealth to keep up with all the military equipment we have created, to SPECIALIZE. The thermonuclear rockets, know as the sunburn series are the fastest and most accurate of any known today. They now have the ability to launch them from land,sea or air.
What this comes down to, in summary, is that the war will happen THIS YEAR. Russian rockets are interballistic and so accurate that they can shoot a dime out of the air at hundreds of miles. Think about this as we prepare.
Of course I exagerated a little but this is to make the point. We have NOTHING to counter their superiority. One real typical demonstration is this: An aircraft can be at the horizon, fire a rocket and turn around and leave. An aircraft carrier will never see the rocket untill it hits and sinks it.
These missles will travel as low as thirty feet from the ground and cannot be stopped nor detonated before the target is struck. In order to at least make defensive preparations one individual would have to see it or it would have to show up on radar............but it is simply too late !!! The fastest detection we have is in a system called HAARP which can see beyond the horizons....IT WILL STILL BE TOO LATE TO STOP IT!
The only possible way to deter this EXTRA coming world disaster is to stop Bush and Cheney dead cold in their tracks.......................SOON! I am trying to make you understand that the end and how much of an end is right around the corner. We should be trying to avert extra problems...........not be the cause of it nor add to it.
I have love for each and every one of you and I am now giving all of you the final word from the Crator Himself that this world is so full of self--serving souls and all the greed and crimes upon humanity that He is now speaking to us although most are blind. Shalom.

CLEAR EVIDENCE TSUNAMI WILL HIT E. COAST THIS YEAR

Due to the importance of this message, I implore you to forward it to

There is Clear Evidence that a tsunami will hit the East Coast of the
United States, probably this year.
This evidence comes from scientists and researchers who have
published the two prime theses which -- when fitted together --
reveal that this tsunami will probably strike the East Coast very
soon.
The first thesis comes from Dr. Simon Day and his team of geologists
at the Benfield Grieg Hazard Facility:
1) these geologists, studying the volcanic island of La Palma in the
Canary Islands off the west coast of Africa, are certain that one
half of the island is about to plunge into the Atlantic Ocean. The
scientists at the Zurich Federal Institute of Technology in
Switzerland have done both life-like modeling and computer modeling
of the consequences of a La Palma mountain-slide into the Atlantic
Ocean.
Here are the results of their analyses:
A MEGA-tsunami would be created, driving westward toward the entire
east coast of North and South America at a speed of 450 miles per
hour. The wave height of this tsunami (this is unbelievable, but the
scientists staunchly defend these numbers) ... the wave height would
be greater than the height of two Empire State Buildings, standing
one on top of the other. Recall that the recent Asian tsunami was
only 30 to 50 feet high.
I have the BBC documentary video, filmed at La Palma Island, with Dr.
Simon Day and Dr. Bill Maguire, and with Dr. Hermann Fritz at the
Zurich Federal Institute of Technology, who recently published:
"INITIAL PHASE OF LANDSLIDE GENERATED IMPULSE WAVES"
(Diss., Technische Wissenschaften ETH Zurich, Nr. 14871, 2002)
I will present this documentary video on a web site very soon.
2) Celestial physicists, geologists, meteorologists, astronomers,
even NASA (secretly) know that what Prof. James McCanney (formerly of
Cornell University) has described as a
"MINI-SOLAR SYSTEM IS NOW MOVING INTO OUR
SOLAR SYSTEM AND IS APPROACHING PLANET EARTH."
Again, it is not me, but these scientists and published researchers
who are saying that this incoming cluster of comets and one enormous
planet are generating the
gravitational and electric forces upon Planet Earth which have been
causing this conspicuous and alarmingly sharp rise in the quantity
and severity of earthquakes and volcanic eruptions!
VOLCANIC ERUPTIONS are intensifying at an accelerating pace!
Why an "Accelerating Pace?"
Because -- as a former high school physics teacher -- I can relate a
simple principle: that when these planetary bodies and comets
approach Earth and our Sun, the gravitational forces between us and
them increase as the inverse square of the distance between them.
This means that as this Planet X "Entourage" zooms toward us to one-
half of its initial distance, its pulling force becomes four times
greater: to one-fourth of its initial distance, its pulling force
becomes sixteen times greater; to one-fifth of its original distance,
its pulling force becomes twenty-five times greater; etcetera
Now, the toward acceleration of this Planet X entourage increases
commensurate with the pulling force. So, its velocity, in this
example, Would become four times faster then sixteen times faster
then twenty-five times faster etcetera
So, this cluster of comets and planets is coming at us like a shotgun
blast.
This means that the extra-planetary excitation upon ALL of Planet
Earth's volcanoes is being whipped up daily at a dizzying pace, a
pace much faster than Simon Day, Bill Maguire, and Hermann Fritz can
even imagine.
WHY?
Because these scientists do not even KNOW about this Planet X
Entourage shotgun blast coming at Earth. No one has told them about
Planet X. You see, money drives our government, and money drives
NASA. And concealing this
great peril is what keeps the economy from collapsing.
That is why Drs. Day, Maguire and Fritz are UNAWARE that a La Palma
mountain-slide-driven tsunami will probably occur this year!
Planet X-generated heating of Earth's molten core will boil up
volcanoes, earthwide, and: that "500 Billion Ton" Entire Half of La
Palma's volcanic mountain will be loosed from its precariously
perched slope, and it will plunge into the
Atlantic Ocean ... probably some time this year!
Now, here's what we can do, if many of us will work together.
What group among the population has the incentive and the authority
to pressure our government to provide the La Palma geologists with
the early warning detection systems that they are screaming for ....
systems that will allow them to alert America and Britain perhaps
days before an oceanic mountain-slide appears to be imminent?
What group can press for and achieve this goal? Police departments of
towns and cities along the entire East Coast of the United States:
New York City
Boston
Atlantic City
Baltimore
Norfolk
Virginia Beach
Daytona Beach
Miami ...... etc.
These police officers know that they would be the last to flee from
the coast when the tsunami approaches, because their job is to first
evacuate the citizenry. The police would be doomed. Without a warning
days in advance, they and the citizenry would be smashed by the
gigantic waves.
So, all who live within, say, 50 miles of the East Coast will be
killed unless we all begin thinking and planning and working together
as a team
Tsunami Eastcoast Alert Movement (TEAM)
To do what?
1) get the early warning system put in place on La Palma Island;
2) get the early warning and evacuation system put in place in towns
and cities all up and down the East Coast.
Let's network together. Maybe we should now create a mailing list to
lead people to the evidentiary web site(s) and to coordinate our
efforts.

Hey, just thought I'd share a rumor.
I know this military guy, and the rumor going around is that the tsunamis were caused by the U.S. setting off underseas bombs to show Korea and those countries that we have the power. Unfortunately, they caused alot more damage then they thought.
Just a rumor! Kinda scary!

the BBC documentary did go into alot of detail of this geological fault in the Canary Islands, but if I remeber rightly, they suggested that they didnt have a clue when it might happen. tomorrow, 20yrs or 2ooyrs.
The area where the recent plate activity and resultant tsunami took place has a lot of plate activity. You will find that alot of plate activity coincides with volcanic action, hence the amount of active volcanos in and around Indonesia for example. This has nothing to do with global warming and is a natural earthly occurrance.
The scaremongering messages are just that. |

On Item #1, this guy is not very knowledgable of military war machines. The supposed threats to our aircraft carriers are not so much.
On Item #2...let's say a tsunami does hit america...I'll bet you dimes to dollars that no one sends us monetary aid.
Why is it we give billions of dollars away to feed other countries when we have our own poor, suffering, and homeless right here at home.
Might it not be a good idea to take care of the homefront before trying to help someone else...?

The problem with predicting earthquakes is that there is no method yet known that is reliable. California has been expecting "the big one" for over 50 years now, and so far, nothing (thank God).
The next big Tsunami will be in..... .....years, without a doubt (but dont hold your breath).
Backchat is right. Earthquakes and such are simply a nasty side-effect of living on a planet with a sufficiently unstable environment that evolution has produced people. They are not a result of global warming.
But when the tide comes in to Los Angeles or New York and never goes out again - at a depth of over 100 feet, THAT will be Global Warming.
Why worry about Tsunamis when you´ve got George Bush?

There will always be natural disasters somewhere in the world, whether it's earthquakes, tsunamis or volcnic interruptions. And even if you could predict it, people are going to get killed and there will be $$$$$$$ of damages.

Two empire state buildings? by george..... *wipes forehead* some rumors have been spread about the tsunamis. you see, and no , i am not disagreeing with yew, scientist did prove of the earthquake that did hit. there really was the earthquake that caused the tsunamis, becuz if the americans did set off a bomb thing under the water, then there would be massive rubble, and tsunamis would not be created. coast blockers, such as tidal waves, would have occured, and too much damage was present as evidence so the bomb thin is just a fake. also, considering the water is just starting to get clean after getting rid of the bacteria, bodies and mud, there would have been some sort of residue or chemical in the bomb that would of stayed in the water, and it would of taken longer to clean and purify. Mind yew, the water is still not 100% clean. this is just a theory of mine and maybe even other scientists, and no, im not a scientist. im just a logical thinker, like all of yew. those were some great discussions though.
